The Housing Levy creates and preserves housing for our most vulnerable neighbors--from seniors and people with disabilities, to formerly homeless individuals and families, to hard-working families who do not earn enough to afford housing and other necessities like groceries, child care and transportation.
2009 Housing Levy will:
Produce or Preserve 1,850 affordable homes Assist 3,420 families Raise $145 million over seven years Cost the median homeowner $65 per year or $5.50 per month

Join the Yes For Homes! campaign at this kickoff event to hear from Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels and Councilmember Richard McIver about how we can all help. Enjoy free food, beer and wine as you mingle with friends and learn more about the housing levy!

The event is free, but a suggested minimum donation of $25 will go a long way to help protect affordable housing for seniors, people with disabilities, homeless and low income working families.
